boAT Airdopes 402 in-ear wireless earbuds with Bluetooth V5.0 connectivity. It comes with 450mAh charging case that allows for a total of up to 12 hours of playtime claimed by the company. It has 10 mm drivers operating distance of 10 meters.
When we unbox the boAT Airdopes 402, it looks more minimalistic and easy to setup. Pairing the device with your mobile or tablet is simple and quick. Airdopes 402 comes with touch-sensitive button, which is not very sensitive and many times does not respond to touches.
Airdopes 402 comes in three colours, Active Black, Rosegold White, Bold Blue. In Bigtecz we reviewed Bold Blue which looks very attractive. We tested it for almost 2 weeks, Battery life is really good, comes up to 3 hours against 4 hours claimed by the company.
Also, standby time claimed by the company is 180 hours but we got around 100 hours. But these are good battery life compared to other TWS in this price range.
The charging case looks cheap and our device came broken with a magnetic lock. You can see that in the picture as a Magnet of closure case broken.
We faced slight connectivity issues when we are doing work out in the gym. Automatic paring is very good, it pair as soon as the earbuds have taken out of the case.
Sound quality is average and if you are buying mainly for sound and bass, we don’t recommend this. Call quality is excellent and it is very light so using for long hours is good. Overall it’s a budget TWS, good for average users.
