United Kingdom TV Personality and MoneySavingExpert.com founder Martin Lewis has dropped his legal action against Facebook, after the company agree to do more on scam ads. Martin had file a law suit in April 2018 over 1,000 fake advertisement on Facebook with his face or name, many of them crypto scams.

Part of the settlement Facebook will roll out a dedicated reporting button for fraudulent ads in the UK. Also Facebook will donate £3 million to Citizens Advice charity. The money will go to UK Scams Action project (CASA). Facebook will fund it through a £2.5m donation in cash over the next two years and £500,000 worth of Facebook ads Reported by MoneySavingExpert
