Redmibook Trademark Listing located in India, warning at Xiaomi Entry inside country’s lapotp market

Located on the Intellectual Property India site, the ‘RedmiBook’ brand is listed including the application number 4158961, and the proprietor is listed to be Xiaomi.

Xiaomi has recorded a brand for the RedmiBook brand in India, hinting that the company may be watching to lastly bring its laptop range to the country.

Up till now, the company has continued launching laptops in China following the Mi and RedmiBook brands, but the company’s trademark spotting on the Intellectual Property India site implies that Xiaomi is analyzing the possibility of bringing the RedmiBook series to India.

The Intellectual Property India site is the authorization for patents and brands under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The brand listing exhibits that Xiaomi listed the application last year in April, and the brand is strong up to April 2029.

For the uninformed, the RedmiBook brand is a portion of the Redmi sub-brand that up till newly only allowed affordable smartphones, before branching out into laptops, routers, and audio products.

The RedmiBook brand gives affordable laptops alternatively, and this range is possible in China to now. Spotted on the Intellectual Property India site, the ‘RedmiBook’ brand does register with this application number 4158961, also the proprietor is prepared to be Xiaomi .

The application date is scheduled to be April 26 last year, and the trademark will be valid up to April 26, 2029, i.e. for 10 years.

Xiaomi combining the RedmiBook trademark in India recommends that the company could belatedly take the laptop limit to the country.

In each case, we could trust that the range launches sometime the year, but this is complete consideration from our end. 

The Chinese mega-giant now launched the RedmiBook 13 last month in China, beside the Redmi K30 range.

The new RedmiBook is powered by the 10th generation Intel Core processor, a 13.3-inch full-HD anti-glare display including 89 percent screen space, and is estimated to deliver 11 hours of backup on a single charge.

The RedmiBook 13 price starts at CNY 4,199 (roughly Rs. 42,300) that includes the Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD. If the RedmiBook range launches in India, consumers will finally get opportunities to buy well-specced laptops at competitive prices.
