Recently, WhatsApp introduced its users the ability to share screens during video calls. The Meta-owned the platform is reportedly introducing a new feature that will let users create and share AI stickers, according to a recent online report.
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has started to make the ability to create and share AI stickers available. Only Android beta testers presently have access to the feature, which comes in update version 2.23.17.8.
WhatsApp’s AI sticker feature
The keyboard may be opened within the sticker tab and a new button called “Create” may be present, according to the say. The user will be asked to input a description to generate a sticker after selecting this option. The user can choose which sticker to share in the conversation after WhatsApp presents a set of AI stickers based on the previously given description.
“You’re always in control over stickers generated by AI case you think a sticker is inappropriate or harmful, you can report it to Meta. In addition, it’s important to note that this feature is optional and those AI stickers are easily recognizable. This means that the recipient may under stand when a sticker has been generated by the AI technology from Meta,” mentions the report.
All sticker is created with secure technology by Meta. You have control over stickers generated by AI. You can report one if you think it’s improper. The AI sticker is immediately recognizable, and this features is optional. The AI technology used by Meta allows recipients to know when a sticker is made.
According to the report, this feature improves the user experience in a couple of ways. Users may create stickers that are highly personalized and relevant to their interests, experiences, or conversations by adding a description to generate AI stickers.
It is said that personalized stickers can enhance and enliven messaging. Users also don’t need advanced design skills or access to other tools because all they need to do is enter a description to start generating a set of stickers related to those terms.
A very small number of WhatsApp beta testers who install the latest update have access to the feature to create and share AI stickers; over the coming weeks, it will be made available to even more people.
