The CEO of Tesla recently announced on his newly rebranded platform X that the fight will take place in Rome, which he described as an “epic location,” after the two tech titans had been talking about a “cage fight” for over a month. He added that it will be broadcast live on X and Meta.
“The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC). Livestream will be on this platform and Meta. Everything in camera frame will be in ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all. I spoke to the PM of Italy and the Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location,” Mr. Musk said in a post. A few days ago, he had also mentioned that all proceeds from the fight will go to charity for veterans.

Following Musk’s conversations with Italian Prime Minister GiorgiaMeloni and Minister of Culture GennaroSangiuliano, who have thrown their backing to the epic showdown, the scene suddenly shifts. With all earnings going to veterans, Musk’s statement emphasized a respectful tribute to Italy’s rich past and present, aligning the event with a noble cause. Musk’s recent health report, which noted that his C5/C6 fusion is solid but that his right shoulder blade is rubbing against his ribs requires minor surgery, added to the hype.
“I spent 3 hours in an MRI machine on Monday. The bottom line is that my C5/C6 fusion is solid, so not an issue. However, there is a problem with my right shoulder blade rubbing against my ribs, which requires minor surgery. Recovery will only take a few months.”

Zuckerberg vs. Musk: The Battle for Supremacy Heats Up
Regarding Mark Zuckerberg, his social media updates indicate that he is also eager to fight with Musk. He reportedly put forward the possibility of an August 26th date but is still waiting for Musk’s confirmation.
However, when did all of this begin? Following news of Meta’s Threads launch, Musk challenged Zuckerberg, saying, “I’m up for a cage match if he is lol.” This sparked a back-and-forth exchange.
This epic clash began with Musk’s humorous challenge following the release of Meta’s Threads. “I’m up for a cage match,” Musk said. This epic story was triggered by the comment “if he is lol.” Musk’s admission of having “mega back pain” brought on by a sumo wrestling match developed the plot. Musk has already challenged Russian President Vladimir Putin to “single combat” over the situation in Ukraine, so this isn’t the first time he’s thrown down the gauntlet.
