Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani want Indian Government to take steps against the global corporations who are colonizing data of Indian users.
While addressing Vibrant Gujarat Global Investor Submit, Mr. Ambani said “Data is new Oil and New wealth, which is owned by Indian people but controlled by global companies. He added that Indian Government need to take action against these global corporate who control the data of Indian users.
Mr. Ambani drew lines of Mahatma Gandhi’s Movement against political colonization during the freedom struggle. Today we are in need of New movement against data colonization.
Already Indian Government is working on a draft for data security law, which will make data centers
of all companies located in India to store India user data.
