Last year, Apple announced the Watch Ultra, the company’s most durable smart watch till date. Presently, it seems the company is working on the Apple Watch Ultra (2nd Gen), as well as a possible larger-than-30-inch iMac, a new iPad Pro, an iPad Air, and other products.
Tech journalist Mark Gurman reports in Bloomberg’s Power On newsletter that Apple is working on three new smartwatch models with the codenames N207, N208, and N210. The first two are reportedly part of the future Apple Watch Series 9, and the third could be the Apple Watch Ultra from the second generation.
Although Gurman avoided any details about upcoming smartwatches, it is expected that the company will follow the design principles of the relatively recent Apple Watch Ultra.
When it comes to iPads, it looks like Apple is working on an improved iPad Air that will likely replace the present M1-powered variant as well as a new iPad Pro with an OLED screen.
Upcoming MacBook Pro Models with M3 Chip: Launching in Late 2023 or Early 2024
The M3 chip-based 13-inch MacBook Pro, M3 Pro-powered 14-inch MacBook Pro, and M3 Max-powered 16-inch MacBook Pro are some additional products in the roadmap. According to Gurman, the new MacBook Pro models will be launched sometime in the later part of this year or in the early part of 2024.
There are also plans for a Mac Pro with a screen larger than 30 inches and a new 24-inch iMac. If precise, the 27-inch Intel Mac Pro with the Xeon CPU could finally be replaced by the new large iMac.
It is also reported that new MacBook Air versions with the codenames J613 and J615 are in development. Gurman states that the iPad Pro will also be refreshed this year. OLED-equipped iPad Pro variants (J717 and J720) and an improved iPad Air (J507) are both under development. An updated iPad Air with more power than the current M1-powered device (codenamed J507) and iPad Pro variants with OLED panels (codenamed J717 and J720) will also become available soon.
Further, some other products that are in early development include AirPods Pro (3rd Gen), new smart home hardware such as smart displays, as well as an Apple TV set-top box with “improved specifications”.AirPods
